1. Here is what you'll need to make
your own design: loose pieces, tweezers (this is our 4"
tweezer for $4.00), a piece of mylar tape, and your design. Now
tape the corners of the design you want to make to a table top.
You'll need to use a light table, if you need to make a mirror image of
the design (i.e. words, letters, numbers, etc.)

2. Now, you bend back the corner of
the mylar and peel off the white backing.

3. Place the sticky side up on top
of your picture. (If you place the sticky side down, you will have
laminated the picture - probably not what you want to do, ha!)

4. Tape down the corners. If
you don't, your hand will stick to the plastic and keep moving it
around.

5. Take the tweezers and place the
pieces upside down, glue side up, on the sticky paper. Follow the
outline of what you are trying to make. Don't place the pieces
right on top of each other, they need to breathe. No, actually,
you just don't want it to look too crowded. If you iron this onto
a cotton shirt and the shirt shrinks, the pieces will be right on top of
each other. Also, if you use some space, you'll use fewer pieces
and save a little money.

6. Here you can see a close-up,
noticing the glue side up being placed on the plastic versus the shiny
red rhinestuds that are at the top of the picture, right side up.

7. Once you've made your design, if
you aren't going to use it right away, place the backing back on.
It doesn't matter which side you place on the plastic.

8. Here is a finished design that
we've done, and you all have the talent to do the same!
